Letter from Lindy Oct 25

Pilgrims,
 
It is with joy that I invite you to welcome our new Church Administrator, Traci Hathway, to Pilgrim. The search team is excited for you to see the gifts she will bring to our ministry. 
 
Traci joins us after an extensive career in Colorado serving various organizations. She and her family recently relocated to Wake Forest, offering Pilgrim the opportunity to benefit from her years of administrative experience. My hope is we will share in a journey of reciprocal learning and teaching along the way.
 
Our plan for now is for Traci to work with Felix and me on campus Tuesday through Thursday, and then finish the week remotely on Fridays. As our pandemic journey evolves, we will adjust as needed.
 
As I hope you have noted from the position description on our website, we have great plans and high hopes for Traci. She will be an integral part of the ministry team in supporting Pilgrims Boards and Committees to do God's work in our community. We will do our best to connect Traci with all of you, even as our campus remains closed. 
 
Traci's official start date will be Tuesday, October 27. For now, our well-wishes need to remain remote, through phone and email, so as to honor the health protocols that keep us safe. But even with that, let us do our best to help Traci know the glimpse she saw of Pilgrim through the search committee is truly the church she is joining in ministry.
