DurhamCARES Genesis Journey

Pilgrims and members of Mt. Calvary UCC gathered on Saturday April 29 for a guided walking history pilgrimage of downtown Durham. We were guided by Rev. Sheritta Williams, who encouraged us to share our knowledge of Durham history as we walked together. At lunchtime, Rev. Williams led us in a discussion of how churches can begin to overcome implicit bias and move toward reconciliation.
