Pilgrim will be joining in with fellow Durham CAN faith communities in a Public Assembly for candidates for major state offices later this month! Together Durham CAN and her sister organizations in neighboring counties form United Power for Action which will be hosting a special statewide delegates assembly on Sunday OCTOBER 20, 2024 from 3-5 PM at the RDU Sheraton Hotel Convention Center.

As a part of the 600 total CAN members being asked to show up, Pilgrim has pledged 25 people towards the effort. The event is expected to attract 600 people on behalf of Durham CAN alone and a total of 2000 attendants! Each person counts—this large scale showing is how we show candidates that our organizations and the policies we care about should be listened to.
