The Auxiliary is launching our annual Marion Stanley Christmas for Children Project, named for Marion Stanley because a fund was set up on request of her family at the time of her passing. Marion had for years collected donations for children listed with Social Services.
 
We wanted to get this on your radar a little earlier than some previous years, so that we can as a church be successful in reaching our fundraising goal of $4000, which we were able to raise the last two years.
 
Through this project, we provide $40 gift cards to families for each of the 70 children who attend All My Children Child Care, a subsidized care center that utilizes the lower level of our church building. We also strive to provide gift cards to each of the 22 ESL students enrolled in Pilgrim’s Bilingual Exchange program. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. Please send donations by Dec. 2 to Irene Laube.

Donations can also be made through the church office or online. There is a portal on Pilgrim’s website to donate to the Marion Stanley Children’s Christmas Fund. Keep in mind that the church is charged about 4.5% for credit card payments and about 1.5% for bank drafts. We encourage credit card donors to add a little to cover those costs, if you can.
