PILGRIM'S 2023 GOALS - 25 Team Members! Raising $22,000 for hunger relief here in Durham and around our world! Let's GO PILGRIMS!

Did you know that some of our Pilgrims have Walked in the Durham CROP Hunger Walk for 40 years or more?! Yes! We have walked for decades! We believe that no one should go hungry. We have walked for justice proclaiming that there should be food and water for everyone. We have also raised a significant amount of funds in order to provide both local and international resources to alleviate hunger and poverty. Last year Pilgrims raised a little over $20,000! Wow!! That's because we as Pilgrims have proclaimed the gospel to feed people who are hungry. We have asked our neighbors and friends for fundraising support and we have given generously!

DO YOU KNOW - Pilgrim's CROP Hunger Walk Team includes Pilgrims of all ages? Strollers are welcome! Wheelchairs are welcome! Walkers are welcome! Did you also know that when you sign up and join Pilgrim's team you have the opportunity to ask your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers for support? Don't forget that if you can't join our Walk team on Walk Day - you can still join our team virtually and walk when you can!

DO YOU KNOW - Wearing a Walk T-Shirt is cool! There's a $5 suggested donation for a T-shirt. This helps to pay for the administrative cost for holding the Walk. Every year 100% of the funds raised for the Walk are given to CWS and local Durham agencies to address and alleviate hunger and poverty.CROP Hunger Walks Are Church World Service's (CWS) Main Source of Funding.

 CROP Hunger Walks support:

  • Emergency and Disaster Relief

  • Communities globally and locally with Sustainable Resources, Clean Water, Food, and Financial Security
