Luncheon hosted by All My Children

Church Auxiliary was treated to a luncheon on Feb 3 hosted by Ms. Muhammed from All My Children, the daycare center on the lower level of Pilgrim UCC. The luncheon was a thank-you for the relationship of the daycare with Pilgrim, including thanks for the Christmas present project managed by Auxiliary.

Before lunch, the group heard from Leonard Beeghley and Mary Anna Hovey about the Bilingual Exchange tutoring program that happens on Tuesdays at Pilgrim from 7:30 to 9:00 and during the day on many weeks during the summer. The program serves 28 students from grades 1-11 and enjoys the help of 32 adult tutors.
