A Letter from Lindy Oct 22
Beloved Pilgrims,
I greet you in absentia as I live into my sabbatical month of October. This month is one of travel: to Orlando and Chicago . Our month of speakers is a wonderful mix of Pilgrim members and Pilgrim friends. I pray that the words from their mouths and the meditations from their hearts feed and nourish you along the way. We are doing a bit of a switch up this fourth Sunday of October. Initially your speaker was to have been Shelley Beason, with Ami Nagle, our former moderator, closing out the sabbatical with a reflective prompt of “and what now?” to bring our three months of work to a tangible, concrete close. Ami’s travel schedule got tricky, so we had to flip-flop Shelley and Ami so she could still lead us in this important conversation.
I can’t imagine you don’t know Ami, her having led us faithfully for four years. But just in case, let me take a moment to introduce this beloved person to you….
Ami Nagle and her husband Mark and two sons, Christopher and Matthew, joined Pilgrim in 2008, shortly after they moved here from Tucson Arizona. Ami is originally from the Chicago area. Ami has served in several roles at Pilgrim -- most recently as Moderator, but also served on Trustees and Board of Christian Service. She is a member of Pilgrim's choir and serves on the tech team, which helps to bring our Sunday services to those who can't be in the sanctuary on any given Sunday.
Please join me in extending our holy embrace to our dear friend.
with gratitude,
Pastor Lindy
