Hi Pilgrims,
 

Well, I am finding my way back into the rhythm of the church-week after my immersive IAF training in New York. To say that what we learned was intensive and transformative is putting it mildly. Grateful for your commitment to, not only my continued learning, but for Pilgrim to be part of the leadership in helping our Durham community be just for all its residents.

As I am still sorting through emails etc. and learning all that has gone on in my absence, I don’t have any new news to share. I learned VBS was awesome! Last Sunday VBS Worship Celebration was delightful! And our commission of Pilgrim’s Youth to ASP meaningful and heartfelt! So what a great week of celebration amidst season of grief and worry about our national tenor and politic. I pray we find ways to reflect on how we stand amidst, striving for justice but lowering the divisive temperature of the moment.

I look forward to being with you all on Sunday. Missed my beloved community much!
