Pilgrim supports new UCC ministry
Pilgrim supports Common Life Church & Farm, a new ministry of the United Church of Christ now forming in Alamance County, by acting as fiduciary of funds and by calling Sarah Horton-Campbell as Pastor for this new community. To learn more about the church and farm, click here.
Pilgrims have been working hard to provide technical support to cultivate this new ministry. An Advisory Committee has been formed of Leigh McNair (chair), Dan Barco, and Alice Ratliff, with Tom Heath (Pilgrim Treasurer) and Rev. Lindy as ex officio members. The purpose of the committee is to advise both Pilgrim and Common Life about our relationship, especially relating to fiscal sponsorship.
Common Life Church & Farm has been busy this spring with worship, fundraising, applying for a grant, traveling to other churches for support, and reviewing applications for the position of Farm Manager.
Would you like to see the vision Common Life Church & Farm become a reality? We would like to partner with you to support this new ministry. We can’t do it without you. Please consider donating to our campaign to raise $10,000 that will be matched by a generous donor for $20,000 total needed to start this ministry.
