Letter from Lindy March 31
What a great Sunday we have planned! Get ready for the Pilgrim production of the Benevolent Father and Prodigal Son. A wonderful treat you do not want to miss.
We continue to grow in our relationship with Imam Waheed and our understanding of the tenets of the Muslim faith he practices. Last night’s session again helped us understand history of their faith in the American context. This grounding will surely hep us step into our final two conversations. A huge shout out to the Deacons, who joined the Boards of Christian Education and Service with another outstanding meal. Many thanks to all of the hands who nourished us well.
Next week, we are giving the Boards a break and having our meal catered by Mrs. Muhommad’s (All My Children) son, who happens to be a chef. As we bump up against a time press at the end of our session, I did not have the opportunity to invite you, if you are able, to bring a love offering for next week’s meal, so as to help defray the cost. My understanding is that we are in for a delicious treat!
Please surround the Women’s Retreat with your prayers as we gather to Create, Pray and Love through the weekend. I am excited to experience and support the UCC Franklinton Center at the Bricks as we grow in faith together.
